In a store in the Bazaar, Aaron seeks out Piper, who is busy trying to capture some vermites. Piper messily deals with the vermites, offering the storekeeper a discount for the trouble, and then goes along with Aaron to pursue another job opportunity – capturing a fuff'nar in the basement of the Opera House, as the fuff'nar has been frustrating Aaron's efforts to search for some old papers. With Aaron's help, Piper captures the fuff'nar, and they search for the papers, but fail to find what Aaron is looking for.
