Dear Eve,
I am writing this letter in troubled times Lady Eve, so forgive meif my writing is somewhat short. I am afraid my homeland has beeninvaded by pirates and someone very dear to me has been killed by them.My daughter, though not a daughter by blood but by magic, is also indanger. I am traveling to rescue her now and I am hoping that you willread this letter and find it in your heart to help me. I realize youhave no reason to help me. In the past as you know, I nearly made yourbrother your sister through my carelessness. I do not pretend to beinnocent of that. I believe you care a lot about your brother and so youmay understand my situation of having my daughter and my peoplethreatened. Any help you could possibly offer them or I will be greatlyappreciated. I will also try and see you in the future if you wish topress charges for what nearly happened to your brother. I regret nothaving handled that sooner. The courier has just arrived and notified memy airship is ready. I must go now to quickly hire a bodyguard. I hopeyou will consider this letter and find it in your kind heart to assistme. I will be in Aelfhem soon, in the Sacred Grove, and that is whereyour assistance is most needed.

A letter delivered to the Shiny Shoppe of Squire Zoltan Cambio, also known as the Baron of Paradys:
Greetings hero,
Greetings. I dearly hope this letter has reached you for I am toldyour location is unknown. We have not met, all though you may have heardmy name mentioned before. We do share a mutual friend however, aBorn-in-Shame, a warrior of interesting origin. If you have spoken toBorn-in-Shame then you might question why after what I have done, am Icontacting you. I realize you may simply prefer me to suffer but I havelittle choice in asking your help. You see my homeland has been invadedby pirates and the great dragon Ashtoreth, refereed to by my people asGuardian-of-the-Seasons, has been killed. If you know of my time withLord Kurai you will know that this dragon was tamed by my magic. Hismate, who I considered my daughter by obligation and magic, is in dangernow. I must rescue her for they would not be in Aelfhem or have defendedthe Sacred Grove were in not for my intervention at Lord Kurai's estate.Indeed they may be monsters but they are my family, too. If you find itin your heart to assist me I will be traveling for Aelfhem to the SacredGrove via Aelfin airship. If you wish to speak with me about any othermatter I will be free to answer to them after my people and my familyare safe. I only hope the monks can fend for themselves until I arrive.
