In my directed studies of the "boomer" acquired by our forces, I have learned that it is not, as might have been previously surmised, an explosive of a great scale. It is not of Sinai, as no "latent" magic clings to it whatsoever. It is essentially magically null. However, it affects or can be affected to some degree by magic. While conducting experiments on it, a conjured spirit triggered a device within the machine, and was flung past world after world, finally reaching and dissipating at some unknown destination. I was stunned after thinking I had set the "boomer" off and been killed, so the only thing I could tell for certain in the last instant of the spirit's existence was that it was sent a distance that could be measured on a scale far and away larger than our own planet of Sinai.

I would surmise that setting off the "boomer" would not destroy everything in its radius of effect, but would in fact send everything in the effect to another world. I theorize it functions not unlike the gate in Himaat, in a broad area, and only once after consuming whatever power source the shell contains. While sending an enemy military base to another world could be a short-term tactical advantage, there is the very real possibility of sending them someplace they could (A) gain control of superior sciences, alien or otherwise, and/or (B) return. I cite the current arrangement with Abaddon and the Red Cliffs as an example.

This is brought to your attention because I fear it may have been a factor you were not aware of during this dispute with Rephidim. In your vision, I am certain you would agree that to destroy such technology in chancy military conquest would be to squander a rarity that could be researched, and possibly converted for use in a world-gate of our own, replication of the technology, or other long-term uses. I am sure you can well imagine the potential benefit to our great nation, in terms both civil and tactical.

I respectfully urge you to act on the matter soon, my Emperor. There are too many dangers, too many things that could go wrong the longer we wait. Enclosed is a representation of the insides of the "boomer", as best I can remember before being incapacitated.
