The college is home to many types, scholars, teachers, eager students… and even a few precocious children who have decided to use the campus grounds as the perfect hide and go-seek arena, much to the chagrin of some of the students.

A small, dark-robed person (a person with a spiraling horn poking through a hole in his cowl) clippity-clops across a sidewalk, looking around this way and that.

Chiaroscuro walks along a corridor, fingers running alongside the right wall. On his face is a thick black blindfold, part of his latest 'treatment session'.

Skiree hangs upside-down from inside of the foliage of one of the massive trees on the college grounds. she's sticking rather close to the ground… since her partner initiated a'no hiding really high up' rule.

The little unicorn looks thoughtful as he surveys the layout and all the possible hiding place. "Now," he muses, "if I were a batbat… where would I hide?" He shakes his head, "Aw, I'd NEVER find her there."

Chiaroscuro's fingers reach out as… the corridor ends, and he re-enters the scholar's quarter. "Just 10 more minutes.", he mutters under his breath.

Just outside the gates, Envoy asks, "Are you sure you don't mind me doing these errands before taking you home, Jynx?"

Jynx shakes his head "Not at all. Right now I'd rather do anything than face my father, he might be mad if I show up back home."

The unicorn is distracted when he sees, just outside the gates … someone with a horn like his? He curiously clip-toes up to the gate and peeks over a bit of stonework.

Skiree peeks out from the leaves of her tree.

Rory peeks a bit more, but then remembers his Very Important Mission. He immediately scampers back, and resumes to poking around every bit of shrubbery, stonework or whatever else that might hide a small Eeee behind it.

A slight breeze causes the trees to shake, a squeak of protest comes from one of the trees. Maybe it doesn't like being blown at?

Envoy nods to the black feline next to her, and says, "My friend should be here for his treatments."

Rory looks all around for the source of the squeak.

Jynx scratches his head "What did you say he was again? A monbu, mognoo… a what?"

Envoy leads Jynx in through the gate.

Chiaroscuro shuffle-steps carefully, as he replays Haskalah's instructions in his mind… Doing without one sense will help you do without others later, including the aetherian sense.

Rory darts back inside the building … and then sees a blindfolded Kavi. He clip-clops up to the stranger.

Skiree peeks out again. She blinkblinks at the strange white thing with wings and a horn. ( Maybe she's Rory's mommy… )

Rory pipes up, "Pardon me, sir, but have you seen an E – " He pauses, blinking, realizing how absurd his question is, since the one he's asking is wearing a blindfold. "Oops. Sorry. Nevermind."

Chiaroscuro's ears perk up as he hears someone approach, and he slows his pace (which was slow to start with in the first matter.)

Envoy says, "This is where they teach people magic. And other things, if Fenter is any example."

"I'm not hiding over there, silly!" One of the trees yells at Rory.

Chiaroscuro inclines his head towards the voice. "Pardon me?"

Rory clip-clops back outside. He yells back, "Well, I'm not supposed to KNOW that!" Then, he clip-clops back inside and says, "Sorry. Nevermind. I'm just looking for a friend, but I see you're busy. Thank you, though!" And then he clip-clops back outside again.

Jynx nods, and looks around, admiring the grounds.

Envoy blinks a bit at the talking tree.

Skiree wrinkles her nose, her mommy always told her that she shouldn't talk to Kavis.

Chiaroscuro ahs… and tries to re-orient himself. .o(The door was that way… wind is… so. *that* direction.)

Rory clip-clops along, then walks a bit less noisily as he goes out onto the grass. "Where again did you say you weren't?"

The tree squeek-yells back, "I'm not hiding in this tree right here!"

Rory says, "Oh! Thanks!" He grins. -=)

Envoy waves to Rory! "That's Rorschach, Jynx. I'm not sure how old he is. And I suspect that Skiree is in the tree. She's an Eee. They're both students here."

The little mostly-black unicorn charges up to the tree, laughing.

Jynx nods "I was wondering what that tree was up to."

Chiaroscuro starts walking in a direction rather different than where he was first going… heading for a terraced edge.

Jynx taps Envoy on the shoulder, "Umm, that's not your friend over there, is it?"

A bright blue Creen with golden wings lands right on Jynx's head. "Creeeeee!" It exclaims happily.

The unicorn runs under the branches of the tree, then starts hopping up and down, trying to reach the lowest limbs.

Skiree pouts. "How'd you know I was here?"

Jynx acks, and bats at the Creen "Shoo! Go away!" He starts to shake his head wildly, but the Creen stays put.

The 'Kavi' is about 5 paces away from a 10-foot drop… 4… 3…

Rory smiles and says, "Well, when all the likely places don't have a bat in them, then you have to look in the LEAST likely place – such as a tree that says it doesn't have any Eeees in it!"

Envoy shouts, "CHIAROSCURO!!" after Jynx points him out.

Jynx says, "Envoy, *OUCH!* shouldn't you- ACK – go get him???"

Rory looks around. "Wha? Who? UH OH! Skiree! LOOK!" Hepoints at the mongoose in peril.

Skiree starts to climb down, "what do stupid trees know." She blinks at the sudden yell.

Chiaroscuro stops a pace away from the ledge. "ENVOY?", he calls out.

Chiaroscuro re-orients himself and walks towards Envoy's voice… in a path that will still take him over the ledge in about 2 steps…

Envoy runs towards her friend, "Stop moving, you're on a ledge!"

Rory runs toward the terrace, waving his hands around (yes, yes, we know that's pointless) and yelling, "STOP!"

Skiree gingerly steps back onto the ground. "Now why would a kavi be trying to fly?" She squeaks, and flaps over to the ledge to find out.

Jynx runs after Envoy, still wrestling with the Creen. "I said OFF!"

Chiaroscuro tries to make out the cacophony of voices, and catches 'stop' somewhere in there. He pauses, one foot reached out over empty space…

Envoy tackles Chia to the ground!

The Creen goes "Squeep!", some of them have can pick up sounds from people here and there you know. It dances from foot to foot on Jynx's head, thinking all this to be some silly game.

Chiaroscuro waaauuughs? and twists himself to minimize the impact of the bodyslam.

Skiree lands beside the 'kavi' and the Aeolun, her head crooked sideways quizzically.

Rory padpads up, across the grass, and looks up to Envoy and Chiaroscuro. "Oh! HEY! Hey, you're that lady we met when we got here!"

(He's looking up, since he's at the bottom of the terrace tier.)

Jynx continues to bat at the Creen, claws now out. He runs faster, and, not looking where he is going, trips over his tail and on to Envoy and Chiaroscuro.

Envoy says, "Are you okay, Chia? Is something wrong with your eyes?"

Envoy gets her breath knocked out of her.

Chiaroscuro says, "Oh, Envoy, it's you that tackled me. No, my eyes arOOOOF!"

Skiree oooohs! "They're playing Pig-pile!" She jumps up and climbs on Jynx.

Rory says, "Wait for me!"

Jynx, still on the pair, bats at the Creen, only to be landed upon by the batbat. "OOF!"

The Creen, quickly flies off of Jynx's head and hovers over the group.

Rory runs around, and clippity-clop-dashes up the steps, then runs around and says the Rephidian equivalent of "BANZAIIIII!"

Chiaroscuro gasps for breath at the bottom of a pile.

Rory pounces! *OOF!*

Skiree eeps!

Jynx says, "Ack! How big do these Creen get anyways? OOFAUGH!"

Envoy rrfs, and wheezes, "Is this part of your treatment, Chipper?"

Rory says, "I'm king of the hill!"

"Creeeeee!" comes from overhead, and the Creen lands right on Rory's horn.

Rory says, "Oh, ptoo! I WAS king of the hill. Creens don't count, though."

The Creen flapflaps his wings happily.

Skiree peers down at the group below. "That was fun! Can we do it again?"

The little black cat struggles, not much bigger then the children himself.

Rory shakeshakeshakes his head around. "Off my horn! Skiree! *OOF*!" He tumbles off the pile.

Chiaroscuro wheezes and gasps, unable to reply to Envoy for lack of a solid breath.

"Screeeeee!" Protests the Creen, but he flapflaps off to find other heads to perch on elsewhere.

Rory sighs, then looks at the pile, and starts laughing.

Envoy tries to roll everyone off of her back.

Skiree tries to readjust her sitting spot, tickling Jynx as she wiggles around.

Jynx laughs uncontrollably, and finally rolls off Envoy, sending the Eeee flying.

Rory nabs Skiree. "Got you!"

Chiaroscuro squirms his best one way while Envoy moves the other… slipping out from under the pile and catching his breath.

Envoy takes a few deep breaths herself.

Skiree tumbles into Rory's arms. she looks around confusedly for a few moments.

Rory brushes a few leaves off of Skiree.

Envoy immediately looks over the edge of the terrace, then realizes Jynx didn't fall over after all.

Skiree squeaks, "What happened?"

Jynx wheezes for breath. "Wha- what hit me?"

Rory clippities up to Jynx and says, "We did! I'm Rorshach. And this is Skiree. Pleased to meet you!"

Chiaroscuro stands up, quickly recovering… "Lady Envoy, if you could explain *breath* what just happened?"

Skiree peers quizzically at the black Khatta. "Weren't you playin' pig-pile?"

Envoy says, "You were going to walk off the edge of the terrace here, Chia."

Rory says, "Well, if HE wasn't, WE were, so that's all that matters. -=)"

Jynx shakes his head to get out the few final cobwebs, "Oh, uh, my name's Jynx. Glad to meet you too." He shakes the Aeonian's hand.

Jynx says, "Pig pile?" Jynx scratches his head "Uhh, I don't know, were we Envoy?"

Skiree giggles to Rory, "The kitty's silly!"

Jynx grins sheepishly.

Rory nods to Skiree. "He has a neat name."

Chiaroscuro tilts his head… "Terrace? What… "… he lifts the blindfold off his eyes, and looks to his right… where he is inches from the drop. "Ah… I see."

Chiaroscuro says, "But did you really need everyone to jump on me to stop me?"

Rory says, "No. But it sure was fun!"

Skiree blinks at Chiaroscuro, "Were you tryin' ta fly?"

Jynx rubs his head where the Creen taloned him "Uhh, sorry about that sir."

Envoy says, "That was an unforeseen side effect. How do you pile pigs?"

Chiaroscuro looks at Rory… and grins. "I imagine it was for you, young one. But at the bottom of the pile it can be tricky."

Rory says, "I don't know. I don't have any. Skiree has one, though."

Chiaroscuro shakes his head to Skiree. "No… just learning to sense without sight."

Rory laughs! "I have to do that sometimes! Skiree's better at that than me, though."

Skiree ohs! "I kin do that… " she closes her eyes and emits a shrill *SQUEAK!*… her big ears twitch around and hone in on the reverberations. (And the protests of those with delicate ears)

Jynx sighs "Well, if you don't mind Envoy, I'm going to go get some fresh air. Just to sort my mind out."

Envoy says, "Stay away from ledges, okay Jynx?"

Rory squints and cringes a bit. "Ow, Skiree."

Jynx nods to Envoy, and wanders off.

Chiaroscuro nods to Skiree, "You have the natural talent for it, I see." He bends down a bit to speak at the child's ear level, and smiles. "But I need practice."

Skiree backs up just a bit. "Your ears are too small."

Envoy makes a sound like a Bromthen forest hog for Skiree and Rory, then asks Chia, "How are your treatments coming along?"

Rory snorts and laughs at the forest hog sounds.

Skiree squeaks, "She sounds like Mister Porky!"

Chiaroscuro grins at Skiree. "Well, one used to be larger, but they did not match, so i had to trim the rest off." He winks conspiratorially.

Rory nods in agreement with Skiree.

Rory blinks, then says, "OW!" He holds his hands over his ears. "Ow, ow ow ow OW!"

Chiaroscuro stands back up… "Quite well, Lady Envoy. This blindfolded walking was part of it… the buzzing is growing reduced in… " he pauses, and says the word as if it's more an approximation than the right word. "'volume'."

Skiree grabs her ears and hides behind Rory.

Skiree peeks out, "You have a bee in your head?"

Rory says, "If he had bigger ears, maybe it would fly out?"

Rory grins. -=)

Envoy says, "No, it's more like… the air buzzes in a way he can hear."

Rory says, "Can you make the air buzz like the way he hears it, Envoy?"

Skiree squeaks, "Yeah!"

"It would more that I- Why thank you, Envoy. That is a better explanation than I could have given.", Chiaroscuro says.

Envoy glances at Chia, "I don't know exactly how it sounds or feels for Chiaroscuro." She tries a subsonic hum that can be felt more than heard.

Skiree giggles! "Can you make yourself sound like Roar-shock?" she asks, pointing to her aeonan friend.

Rory laughs a bit at the weird sensation. "Wow. Are you a magician, too?" He pauses, as if deep in thought. "I don't know anybody who can do things quite like that."

Envoy stops the humming, and says, "Why would I want to sound like him?" in Rory's voice.

Rory YIPES!

Rory says, "Hey. Do like SKIREE. Make her say that bats are goofy!"

Skiree squeals with laughter!

Skiree squeaks, "Heeheeheehee – HEY!"

Rory grins at Skiree. "Goofy!"

Chiaroscuro grins at Envoy's imitations.

Envoy looks at Rory, and says, "Bats are goofy," as requested… but it seems to come from Rory himself, using Skiree's voice.

Rory looks cross-eyed. "What?"

Skiree pthbbbbbts! at Rory. "Are not!"

Envoy grins. "It's a trick I've been practicing. If you alter the phase of two wavefronts so that they coincide and amplify at a certain point, you can make it seem like the sound is originating there."

Skiree stares blankly at Envoy.

Rory echoes Skiree's expression.

Envoy blinks, and looks at Chia for help.

Skiree looks at Rory with an 'you're older… you're supposed to know everything I don't' look.

Rory shrugs and looks at Skiree with a 'but that doesn't have anything to do with shadows!' look. Or, it could be a 'but I forgot to bring the bagels!' look, too. After all, that look is multi-purpose, depending upon the context.

Chiaroscuro hmmms… "You know how a jump rope goes when it wiggles up and down, how it has tops and bottoms? Envoy makes her voice seem to jump from one top to the next top."

Rory just nods his head at Chiaroscuro, but his expression indicates this has done nothing to enlighten him.

Skiree nodnods her head. She still doesn't get it, but nodding your head always makes grown-ups think you're smart.

Envoy smiles at Chia's cleverness.

Rory looks thoughtful for this a moment, then turns to Skiree and proclaims, "It's a cantrip!"

Skiree squeaks, "OOOOHHHHHHhhh!"

Skiree hugs Rory, "You're so smart!"

Envoy giggles, and asks Chia, "Have you found a new act yet?"

Chiaroscuro shakes his head. "I have not… I have had a few short-term jobs, but nothing truly worthwhile. I'd be grateful for any help you could give… "

Envoy says, "I've only just returned to Rephidim, so I don't know of any new performance troupes yet."

Skiree tugtugs on Envoy's sleeve. "You wanna play hide 'n go-seek with me 'n Roar-shock?"

Envoy says, "What is hide and go seek?"

Rory says, "Silhouette would play, too, but she's real shy, with all these people around."

Chiaroscuro nods to Envoy.

Rory says, "But then, when Silhouette hides, we can never find her anyway, so that's probably just as well. And she's no good at finding us, either."

Rory elbows Skiree. "She doesn't know Hide and Go Seek? Wow."

Skiree squeaks, "Well, someone counts to ten… unless they don't know how to count that high. And everyone else hides. Then the person counting hasta find all the people hiding."

Envoy says, "And then what?"

Rory says, "Uhm … and then … well … you found them!"

Chiaroscuro ahs at Skiree. "I used to play that, but we called it "Find the Snake eggs.'."

Skiree looks sidelong at Rory.

Envoy says, "There are eggs involved?"

Rory says, "I don't think the snakes would be happy if we went looking for their eggs."

Skiree squeaks, "Ewwwww! Snakes are icky!"

Rory says, "That's a mean thing to say!"

Chiaroscuro says, "Metaphorically only, Envoy."

Envoy says, "Oh… "

Skiree folds her arms stubbornly. "They are icky! they make my ears itch when the talk and their skin falls off all the time."

Rory hmphs. "It doesn't fall off ALL the time. Or else there would be snake skins everywhere."

Rory says, "Ooo! Look! Is that a … SNAKE SKIN?"

Rory points over Skiree's shoulder.

Skiree spins around, getting her best 'ew' face ready.

Chiaroscuro stays silent. Though he's quite antipathetic towards snakes himself, he knows those of this world are different… sometimes… and he does not want to teach these youth to judge others harshly.

Rory messmessmesses Skiree's hair, saying, "OogaboogaBOOGA!"

Skiree SQUEAKS!

Jynx wanders back to the others, looking a bit refreshed.

Rory laughs and RUNRUNRUNS away … just as Jynx is coming back!

Envoy says, "Welcome back Jynx… "

Skiree tries to smooth out her hair, and then tears after Rory. "Come back here! I get to mess your hair up now!"

Jynx smiles to Envoy, just as Rory runs smack into him, point first "OUCH!"

Rory YIPES! He bounces back and lands on his tail with a *thud*.

Jynx OOFS, and falls back "Did he impale me??"

Jynx looks to his mid section, and sighs in relief to see he's in tact.

Skiree pounces Rory! And she does the most vile and icky thing she can possibly think of… she kisses him on the nose!

Skiree squeaks, "Cootles!"

Rory screeches! "AHHHHHHH!"

Rory says, "No fair! You're not supposed to do GIRLIE stuff!"

Chiaroscuro chuckles at the youngsters.

Skiree nyaaahs at Rory!

Envoy blinks three times at the antics.

Rory wipewipewipes his muzzle fiercely. "Ooooooooo! I … I REFLECT the cootles!"

Jynx stands back up, and smiles at the roughhousing children.

Rory hops up and tags Jynx. "COOTLES ON YOU!"

Rory immediately rushes off the opposite direction.

Skiree eeks and runs away from Jynx as well, she quickly hides behind Envoy.

Jynx uh ohs, and looks about "What??" He catches on, then grins "Oh, I see… "

Envoy asks Chia, "What's a cootle?"

Jynx sets his sights on Skiree, and dashes off after her, almost knocking Envoy over.

Rory yipes! He scrambles down the steps to the grounds below.

Envoy hops aside!

Chiaroscuro leans over and whispers to Envoy, "An imaginary virus, carried by members of the opposite sex, transmitted through a kiss, only affecting the young."

Jynx pounces at the young Eeee "Ha, GOTCHA!"

Chiaroscuro merfs as Envoy jumps his way, forcing him to jump back quickly.

Skiree squeaks, "No! I don' want any cootles!" She squirms, little wings batbatbatting Jynx's face."

Rory pokes his head out from his hiding place and laughs at Skiree. "Ha haaaaa!"

"Ouch, oof, hey, stop that!" The small cat rolls backwards as the batbat baps him on the nose.

Rory then scoots over to another bush to hide behind, ducking down so only his horn pokes up over the top.

Envoy says, "So… is this a way to prepare children to deal with communicable diseases?"

Skiree makes bigsadhelpless eyes at Rory?

Jynx rubs his tender nose.

Chiaroscuro ahs… "Perhaps."

Rory pops his head back up. "Awwwwww! Stop that with the bigsadbatbat eyes! It's just COOTLES… "

Jynx grins hugely, then stands and runs off, saying "Ha! You touched me with your wing, now YOU got cootles!"

Skiree eeeeks!

Rory pops up. "Yeah, but she popped you back, so you got it back again!"

Skiree runs over to Chiaroscuro and pokes him in the side, "COOTLES!" she squeaks at him.

Jynx skids to a halt, "Hey, no touchbacks!"

Rory sticks his tongue out at Jynx, then ducks behind the bush again.

Skiree runs behind a plaster vase to hide. Her two large ears poke out over its brim.

Jynx runs and pounces the bush!

Chiaroscuro eeeeps! exaggeratedly, then pokes Envoy in the side, passing the 'cootles' along.

Rory AIEEEEES and runs!

Envoy blinks. She's figured out she's supposed to tag someone else, and goes after Rory.

Jynx urgs as he gets a mouthful of leaves, then bolts off after Rory "I'll get ya yet!"

Rory says, "No fair! GANG UP!"

Jynx grins

Chiaroscuro readies himself for dodging the cooties again if need be, stuffing the blindfold in his pocket.

Jynx says, "All's fair in tag and war!"

Rory wails and runs out across the grounds. "I DON'T WANT COOTLES!"

Envoy takes to the air to get in front of the unicorn.

Skiree flapflaps after Envoy and Jynx.

The unicorn tries to skid to a stop, but his hooves slip in the grass, and he tumbles … his horn impaling in the dirt. "OOF!" His leonine tail flops up.

Jynx sees Rory fall, but can't stop in time. He goes flying over the unicorn "Augh!"

Skiree lands on Rory's back she makes a nonsense gesture with her hands and loudly proclaims, "Cootle protection!"

Envoy lands and taps Skiree on the forehead.

Jynx returns to the ground on his chest, and skids for a few feet.

Rory says, "I'm immune! I'm immune! Uhm … can someone get me out? I think I'm stuck."

Rory's voice is muffled, since his horn is stuck in the dirt, and his head is therefore a bit upside down and his voice filtered through his robes.

Chiaroscuro pads over to Rory, and gently grabs him by the shoulders. "Hold steady, young one… "

Jynx picks himself up and shakes off. "Ugh, twice in one day."

Skiree blinks? she starts tugging on Rory's tail. "Careful… you don' wanna get your horn bent like Envoy's is… "

Chiaroscuro pulls back carefully.

Rory says, "AUGH! Don't bend my horn!"

Rory says, "And don't pull my tail, either!"

Jynx pads over to the others. "Tsk tsk, stuck and with cootles." He grins.

Envoy says, "My horn isn't bent. It's streamlined."

Skiree squeaks, "Why not? will it make your horn pop into your head if I pull it too hard?"

Rory says, "I do NOT have cootles! I'm immune!"

"This is a new kind off cootle, no one has protection from it!" The cat giggles.

Chiaroscuro mutters, "Skiree, do not pull his tail, please." while he frees the young unicorn.

Skiree abruptly drops Rory's tail and nervously folds her hands behind her back.

Skiree gives Chia a 'I was just trying to help' look.

Rory grumbles at the bits of dirt falling from his horn, once he's pulled out. "Yuck." He picks an earthworm free.

Chiaroscuro gets Rory free, and looks at Skiree… "I used to try the same thing myself, but trust me: the tail is a bad place to pull, it can hurt." he pats the Eeee on the head.

Jynx chuckles "Looks like your luck is like mine today, Rorshach."

Rory says, "Aw, Eeee don't have real tails, so they don't know what it's like."

Skiree peers around at her backside.

Envoy says, "Nobody has ever pulled on my tail. It's a lot like yours, though, Rory."

Envoy says, "Are you alright, Jynx?"

Rory says, "Well, you look a lot like me anyway. Except I don't have wings and nobody has bent my horn yet."

Skiree brightens! "I'll pull on it forya, Envoy!"

Jynx scratches his head, and nods "Yes, I'm fine. You two aren't related, are you?"

Envoy looks at her tail, then at Skiree.

Skiree smiles eagerly at Envoy.

Envoy says, "I don't see how. I'm a monster from another world, you see."

Jynx curls his tail defensively, seeing the young Eeee's hopefulness, then scratches his head at Envoy's comment "Oh I… see… "

Skiree blinks and suddenly ducks behind Rory. "Didja hear that? she's a MONSTER!"

Rory says, "A monster? You aren't a MONSTER, either!"

Skiree squeaks, "Yeah!"

Envoy says, "What am I then?"

Skiree still hides behind Rory tho…

Chiaroscuro coughs politely. . o O (And this is why I pretend to be a Kavi.)

Rory says, "You're … you're … well, you're not a monster, anyhow."

Jynx looks quizzically "Yeah, what er you anyways?"

Jynx shrugs "Guess it doesn't matter, maybe there's a whole bunch of different Aeonians, like there's a bunch of different kinds of Khattas."

Envoy says, "I'm an Envoy."

Jynx nods "And I'm a Jynx… well… " He sighs.

Rory says, "Well, then, she's an Envoy. Not a monster. See?"

Rory says, "She looks too much like me and Silhouette to be a monster, anyhow."

Skiree squeaks, "Yeah… uh." She looks at Rory, "What's an Envoy?"

Jynx looks around for someone else

Rory points at Envoy. "THAT'S an Envoy. Weren't you listening?"

Jynx says, "Silhouette? Who's that?"

Rory shouts in Skiree's ears, "You aren't going DEAF ARE YOU?!?"

Rory tries to rush off before Skiree pummels him!

Skiree yaieees and pulls her ears down over her face. "You're a meanie!"

Rory says, "That's for giving me COOTLES!"

Jynx stands, and brushes himself off chuckling "Are all the students here this energetic?"

Envoy says, "No, some are very much more… reserved."

Jynx nods "Well, that's too bad."

Rory frowns. "Awwww. I'm sorry, Skiree… " He padpads back over to the bat.

Skiree makes bigsadeyes at Rory.

Rory says, "Awwww! Not the bigsadeyes!"

Jynx awws "That look could melt an Inquisitors heart!"

Envoy blinks. She has yet to figure out that sort of body language.

Envoy smiles to Jynx, "Perhaps you could use it on your father?"

Jynx hmmms "Maybe, but somehow I doubt it." He sighs.

Rory looks down and mumbles, "sorry… " while scuffing a hoof against the grass.

Chiaroscuro taps Envoy on the shoulder. "It's getting to mid-day, and I have not eaten yet. Would you like to accompany me to lunch, Lady Envoy?"

Off in the distance, a bell rings. Announcing the closure of the school and the start of the study time for the students.

Jynx practices the big-sad-eyes, just in case…

Envoy says, "Certainly, Chipper. Do you mind if Jynx comes along? I'm watching over him until he's ready to go home."

Skiree continues to make bigsadeyes at Rory, "You mean it?" she squeaks, "You're really sorry?"

Chiaroscuro smiles. "I do not mind at all." He turns to the children. "Take care, young ones."

Jynx jolts out of the face making as his name is said, and smiles "Yeah, I'm getting kinda hungry myself." His stomach rumbles audibly.

Rory says, "I'm really really REALLY sorry. REALLY sorry. Sorry sorry sorry."

Skiree walks up to Rory, "Okay… I forgive you." and she suddenly plants ANOTHER kiss right on the aeonan's nose! With a squeak and a giggle she's off running back towards the college, making a quick wave of goodbye to everyone else.

Rory says, "AIIEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Skiree squeaks, "Cootles! Cootles! cootles!"

Jynx chuckles and waves "She reminds me of my little sister."

Rory charges off after Skiree. "No fair! No fair! No fair!"

Envoy blinks again at the Eee and her Aeonian friend. Jaundice and Kaela aren't like that…

Jynx perks up "Well, where to eat?"

Envoy says, "I'm sure Chipper has some place in mind?"

Chiaroscuro grins at the playful kids, and then hmmms… "There's a place in the bazaar that ought do well. Follow me." He heads off, Envoy and Jynx following.
