The Rath'ani resemble humanoid raccoons, and are known for having especially
fine and dextrous hands. The bulk of them are fairly "urbanized", not
having a "homeland" per se, and no unique race-tongue to any common
knowledge. Due to genetic variation, some may sport certain "feral"
abilities, such as heightened senses, but the bulk of the Rath'ani are fairly
human in terms of ability -- save that they have a tendency to excel in skills
that require high dexterity.
PC Requirements:
There are no prerequisite skills or abilities for Rath'ani, though "Sleight
of Hand" may be encouraged to represent their dextrous hands, or else skills
that fit along those lines.
Distribution:
As of this writing, Rath'anis have been found in numbers in Rephidim, the Himar Region, and in the Nordikan land of Kroz. In all of these areas, Rephidim Standard is in common usage. Krozite Rath'ani tend to be more slim (or, at the very least, closer to human proportions) and almost always have human-type head hair.
