Kujakus are humanoid creatures, possessing a pair of wings sprouting from their backs, long tails, bird-like heads (topped by a feathery flop of "hair"), and a downy, feathery body covering. They are not true "avians", being semi-mammalian, leading to some theories that they might be yet another Vartan crossbreed. (Since there are entire family lines of Kujakus, however, this is a widely discredited theory.) Unlike the peacocks of Earth that they may seem to be based upon, the females possess the colorful tail-trains and the blue-turquoise "skin" coloration as well. Some Kujakus vary from the blue-turquoise norm, appearing as snowy white instead.

Kujakus are equally able to speak in Rephidim Standard, or in twittering "bird-talk", often opting for Vartan as a preferred language if talking amongst themselves or other avian-types. While Kujakus have no "homeland", per se, a large number are found in Gallis.
