Alice, Nymuae and Hannah, still in the Thaumaturge's Study, discuss what to do with the photograph, and whom they might trust to oppose "Lord April." In the end, Alice decides to go off, and Nymuae and Hannah -- despite Nymuae's wounded condition -- to go with her, to see the Queen.
