Troll Bridge

Tom, Rachel (Elinor), Simon and Abercrombie (Hannah's former mentor) travel in search of the lost lady of House November, asking questions along the way. They encounter a bridge where a troll poses an obstacle to crossing, but a stranger on the other side distracts the troll by tossing morsels of food for it to go after. While it is so distracted, the group rushes across the bridge and meets up with this stranger on the other side. It turns out to be none other than Hannah of November, but rather than going back home with Abercrombie, she insists on accompanying Thomas to assist Hawksmoor Keep.
