The Journal of John Harcourt, Vol. 2
July 16 (13 Mar 2003) Agatha and John Cortlynn look through the room of John Harcourt.
(Agatha)
In the room that once belonged to John Harcourt, Agatha and John Cortlynn examine the books on the shelves, and the contents of a roll-top desk. Agatha finds a cloth bundle that contains pieces of a broken porcelain pegasus doll ... and a journal, of John Harcourt. A collection of books on the shelves includes such things as Malory's "Le Mort D'Arthur," and Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," with notes in the margins. The journal provides an account of the incident that led to the major falling out between John and his siblings - and the creation of the "Destroyer."
