The Holy Grail
(7 Nov 2001) Sir Lefallon continues his quest.
(Agatha) (The Trials of Anwynn) (Simon)
(Tom)
Simon, Thomas, Agatha, Max and Sabrina play-act out the continuation of "Sir Lefallon's" quest for the Holy Grail. First, Sir Lefallon encounters a traveler who drops a pouch of coins. Rather than keeping it for himself, Sir Lefallon chases down the traveler and returns the pouch. For his trouble, he is warned about the curse of a forest where various illusory temptations exist to lure unwary travelers off the path to their doom. Keeping this in mind, Sir Lefallon avoids various temptations -- an untended treasure, a marvelous sword, and even a phantom of Lord Explorer Thomas trying to trick him into leaving the path.

Eventually, Sir Lefallon leaves the woods, and encounters a large monster, but he is reluctant to attack the monster first without provocation. He discovers that the monster is harmless after all, and when he finds some food along the way, he gives some to the monster -- at which point the beast slumbers contentedly after getting a full belly.

At last, Sir Lefallon makes it to Caer Bannuac, where he is questioned by the Fisher King, Pelles, on whether or not he is humble. Sir Lefallon gives a careful answer, and is rewarded by being allowed to enter the tower, and to find the Holy Grail. At the advice of the talking cat, Bragwaine, he kneels to first give thanks for completing his quest, and receives a vision of an angel granting him permission to take the Grail. Sir Lefallon's quest is complete!
