Alice, Thomas and Simon search around the Siege des Anges for the Book of Rules, mindful of the watchful eye of Mrs. Christy - who is sitting nearby on a bench. While Alice distracts Mrs. Christy, Thomas finds that the plate at the front of the base of the statue can be moved. With some help, Thomas gets it open - and inside is an old journal: the Book of Rules!

Alice, Thomas and Simon then head off, discussing just what should be done with the rules, now that they have them....
