Return to Hawksmoor
(11 Dec 2001) Tom, Simon, Hannah and Rachel (a.k.a. Elinor) finally reach Hawksmoor.
(Elinor) (Simon) (The Key)
(Tom)
Tom and his companions reach Hawksmoor, the base of the Golden Hawks. Rachel Antoine (a.k.a. "Elinor") is received as an old friend, and whisked off to catch up on things, though Tom (as per his request to Hannah) is not introduced as the Explorer Thomas. Thomas hears of the troubles with the Dark Witch, and how holy items may ward off her illusions, and an idea occurs to him -- He takes Simon aside, and they look to see if the Holy Grail might be stored within Hawksmoor, just as they had play-acted storing it there back in the real world. Simon falls into the role of Sir Lefallon ... but as they search for the grail, he reveals to Tom that he really is Sir Lefallon -- that he is a faerie of House April who took the real Simon's place some time ago, at first to act as a spy, but that now he has opted to not report back to Lord April all that is transpiring. They open a box and discover the Grail, sure enough -- and take it out to show to the Golden Hawks, to rally them to go on a mission to defeat the Dark Witch.
