Agatha hangs out a banner, as directed, and gets the attention of Sabrina, who shows up to play the role of "Bragwaine", the cat familiar of "Pelles of Caer Bannuac". After running an errand to the church cemetery, "Bragwaine" returns to lead "Knight Redmane" out of town, and to the "Point of Peril". There, Agatha plays the role of "Knight Redmane", facing the dangers of the Bridge of Sorrows, a fire-breathing dragon, a ruinous castle wall, and other troubles, as she follows the cat to the ultimate challenge. Along the way, she encounters a forest changeling that has taken on the form and mannerisms of Lord Explorer Thomas -- challenging Redmane by asking her three questions about survival in the wilderness. After this, Knight Redmane encounters the Green Knight, who is guarding a bridge. Despite unchivalrous behavior on the part of the Green Knight, Redmane defeats him by tripping him and sending him into the river. Pelles presents Redmane with a pair of mithril gauntlets, and some other treasure ... and then the kids break character to have a picnic. (Boris, who played the part of the Green Knight, leaves immediately after getting wet, as he was only there for the promise of money, as Maximillan / "Pelles" was apparently paying him to play the part.)
Maximillan, Sabrina, Thomas, Agatha and Bragwaine (Sabrina's cat -- not her alternate form, as it turns out, but an honest-to-goodness cat) have a picnic by the river, discussing various things, until Mr. Winters drives up in his station wagon to give them a ride home.
