Packing for the Journey
(27 Dec 2002) Alice packs supplies for the trip to the Palace of All Seasons, while Redmane rests in preparation for her own separate trip there with Ahearn. 		(Agatha) (Alice)
Redmane and Ahearn remain on the Black Boat for a time, opting to stay with it for a while, until they get closer to the Palace of All Seasons before disembarking to ride ahead and alert the Queen of their arrival. Redmane tries to explain her mission to Alice and to ask who she might seek out in order to pass on this information, but Alice at first doesn't quite understand her point. Alice asks Redmane what she'll be doing after this is all over with, and Redmane indicates that she thinks she is "borrowing" this life; when this is all over with, she has duties and responsibilities - and a family - as Agatha Cunningham, and intends to return to Ainigton. Alice/Angel, however, voices her intention to stay here in Mirari. Redmane privately worries that this is not the best of all outcomes.
