Tom finds the library of Lord December, and peruses its titles, trying to find any clues as to the identity of "Lord Explorer Thomas" and his role in dealing with the threat of the "Year's End". His examination of the titles is interrupted by a faerie librarian who mistakes him for Lord Explorer Thomas, and then shows him a seemingly photographic image of the real Thomas -- who looks very much like an older version of Tom. Lord December makes an appearance as well.
