Last Errands Before Ainigton
(13 Feb 2003) Thomas and Simon rush about the palace complex, in search of their friends. 		(Simon) (Tom)
Thomas and Simon find Hannah and Lord November on the battlements. Though Lord November and Hannah are wary at the presence of Simon, Hannah informs Thomas that Kuon brought warning of some sort of assault back in Ainigton; Alice, Agatha and Kuon went through the Royal Siege to deal with it.

Thomas and Simon then go to visit the Queen. She prepares to send them through the Royal Siege, but Thomas asks about the magic mirror - is it in Princess Angel's possession? The Queen does not know ... so Thomas and Simon go on another errand, this time to visit Sorceress Nymuae on the battlements.

They finally reach Nymuae - who is holding off a swarm of undead with her magic - and she reveals that, yes, Princess Angel did take the mirror with her. But before she lets Thomas go, she puts a magical mark on his hand - the mark of a lion - explaining that whomever bears the mark of the lion can be called through the mirror, and that this may come in handy.

At last, Thomas and Simon make it back to the Royal Siege, then pass through, back to Ainigton.
