Grail Paradox
(13 Dec 2001) Tom speaks privately with Simon.
(Simon) (The Key) (Tom)
Tom takes Simon/Sir Lefallon aside, and speaks with him about his concerns about the Grail, among other things. He indicates that he was actually surprised to find the Grail in the keep, since he can think of no logical reason for it to be there. Sir Lefallon remembers questing with Lord Explorer Thomas to get the grail ... but Sir Lefallon is a squire of House April, of the present, and there's no reason why he should have been adventuring with Lord Explorer Thomas of 14 Years or more ago. They discuss the matter of paradox, and whether play-acting in the real world might somehow give them the ability to travel back into Mirari's past ... and whether it might be possible to learn more by play-acting to "observe" the past ... and whether it might even be possible to change it. In the end, they have a great many "what ifs", but no answers.
