Redmane awakens to her new wolven form and finds she can finally communicate with others who were changed, such as Thomas. From him she learns more about the situation and what he as uncovered this far.
Once Redmane has leaned about the situation, she is told she must also learn about her new body. Though reluctant, Erzsebet and Thomas manage to convince Redmane to join in a hunt.
