(21 Aug 2001) Tom has an unexpected visit from Elinor. 		(Elinor) (The Key) (Tom)
Thomas, while climbing a tree, drops his hat, then sees a girl -- possibly Elinor -- walking along the road. He decides to climb down to get his hat ... and also see if it might actually be Elinor after all. His suspicions are confirmed, and it turns out that she was looking for him, wishing to speak of their recent misadventure. She wonders whether they should really be looking for the King at all, and suggests that if he does not want to be found, they should not be searching for him. She also suggests that he be more open to the notion that perhaps magic could exist, as she gets Thomas to admit that it might very well be a possibility.
