Called Away on Business
(30 Aug 2001) Agatha pays a visit to Mr. Kuning

Agatha pays a visit to Mr. Kuning at the Harcourt estate, and tells him about her bizarre adventures and asks him whether he might be the runaway King of Mirari. Mr. Kuning chides Agatha for letting her imagination get the best of her, and suggests that if he really were this king, and if he were responsible at all, then surely there must have been some great betrayal to make him leave his throne. He is called away for a moment, and then comes back, indicating that he has received a message and that he must go away on business for a time -- and he asks Agatha to look after Destre and Kuon in the meantime -- a task that Agatha agrees to.
