Blasphemy in the Eyes of Cerridwen
The wolves add Redmane to their pack.
(Legends of Mirari) (Redmane) (Thomas)
()
Redmane and Thomas are brought back to the temple, and the Elder explains that whatever Redmane wants to tell them will have to wait until she's been one of them for awhile. The Knight agrees, but wants to consult her goddesses about the rightness or wrongness of such a transformation.

Using her steel blade that is consecrated to Cerridwen, Redmane strikes the center of the temple floor, and the blade penetrates and cracks the stone. She declares this to indicate blasphemy, which riles up the wolves. In the end they don't seem to care, since they claim the goddess abandoned them anyway.

After a very painful transformation, Redmane (and Thomas) are taken under the protection of Erzsebet, and allowed to return with her to her home to be taught the ways of the pack and how to survive as wolves.

All the while, Redmane plots how to overturn the hierarchy of the pack by organizing the lowest caste.
