They came upon a midnight clear
The Expedition of old
From the heavens they came to earth
Bringing an age of gold.
'Peace on earth, friendship to all'
First Ones, we have much to learn
Sinai in stillness awaits the 
First Ones' return.
 
Down through the star-filled skies they came,
Their great banners unfurled.
The First Ones welcomed them openly
To our beloved world.
Somewhere above our earthly things
They'll wait till times are right
Somehow, someday we'll see them again
On a great and holy night.

Yet with the woes of war and strife
Sinai hath suffered long
Since that graceful ark came, we've seen
Too many years of wrong.
And friend at war with friend thinks not
Of our Temple's kind ways
O hush the noise, silence your hate
And know peace all your days.
 
But lo! the days keep hastening on;
The Temple has foretold
That with the ever-passing years
Comes the new Age of Gold;
Peace shall come to all Sinai
Of peace and love we'll sing
As all the world delights once more
By the light of the Worldly Ring.
